Jason is a freelance archaeological photographer, working primarily in Turkey and Egypt, documenting excavation sites and finds. He began in the early days of digital photography as part of the BACH (Berkeley Archaeologists at Çatalhöyük) team in 2001. Since then he continues to document the site as the excavation’s Media Officer and manages the ever growing photo and video archive. He is still regularly found at Çatalhöyük in Turkey during summers and joined The Fayum Project in 2012. In past years he's also worked with the Giza Plateau Mapping Project and taught at AERA's Archaeological Field Schools in Luxor and Giza.
